Don’t worry. You are in Canada

"Don’t worry. You are in Canada" is a story inspired by true events. It follows the unfortunate and unpleasant incident of a young Syrian boy who put his trust and hopes in a stranger who speaks Arabic. This story explores the state’s culture through its institutions and how it is of intolerance to multiculturalism when multiculturalism is inconvenient. This project presentation will pay tribute to one of the oldest human artistic traditions: oral storytelling. Our proudest triumphs and sorest losses, our most romantic pursuits and most adventurous endeavors, our endless seconds and fleeting hours… our past is eternalized by “once upon a time”.
