What's in a Name?

"What’s in a Name?" tells the story of what it is like to live with a name that sounds foreign. The film was inspired by my own struggle to shorten my legal name to make it easier to pronounce to fit into the dominant culture. Just like the characters in the film, through the exploration of how I feel about my name, I have come to the realization that it is a part of me and cannot be replaced.
