Building a new life in Canada... has not been easy! Not easy at all! The belief was that the cost of leaving my people, world, and everything I knew before would be enough to fulfill the Canadian dream... but it took a whole lot to even come under the legal umbrella of belongingness in Canada! The journey isn't unique. And so with the movie, I engage in catharsis for me and anyone who sees him/ her/ them in me!
